About us

We are a centre of competence for research and teaching at HSG University of St.Gallen with a fine reputation for banking, corporate finance and capital markets research in Switzerland.

The institute combines the four chairs of Professors Ammann, Brown, Söderlind and Spremann, all members of the School of Finance.
Our core areas of research and teaching are Investment Management, Asset Pricing, Derivatives, Corporate Finance and Banking.

Besides teaching and offering executive education for finance professionals, we advise commercial banks, central banks, financial institutions and international organisations.

Much of our research has been received favourably across Europe.
